First I improved the image by using the healing brush tool to get rid of any blemishes on my models skin and to even out her colour. Next I played around with the adjustment layers under 'curves' to enhance the red in the image.
Then I used the levels tools to change the background and make it lighter and more white. This made it look more professional and suitable for my front cover.
I then finished off editing my barcode to fit on the page in the corner without blocking too much of my model.
I then changed the font for masthead as it covered too much of my models head. I am going to try and place the letters behind her head even using this font so nothing is covering my model.
I added some of my sell-lines to my front cover and changed fonts and sizes several times to make sure they are situated on the page correctly.
